The Pereira Custom clarinet line was carefully developed in response to rising instrument prices each year. Each upper/lower joint is finished with custom bore and tone hole reamers after initial machining. They're made to sing in symphony orchestras, pit orchestras, and bands. Still, they can be used in marching band and other outdoor situations as well, since the materials are NOT susceptible to cracking or changing over time. This instrument was designed with the following points:
 
- The Pereira Custom Low C Bass Clarinet's wood-composite body does not crack or change due to temperature or humidity factors, does not require a break-in process, and can even be used in dry/cold weather playing situations
- The body is hand-finished and voiced after machining, using bore and tone hole reamers to sound, tune, and respond at professional standards
- Includes the articulated C#/G# mechanism
- Features an adjustable thumb rest with a neck strap/harness loop
- All Pereira Custom Bass Clarinets come with a Neckpiece (also known as a Resonator) standard and already installed
- The keywork and posts feature thicker silver plating, so the keys are extremely durable and not at all pliable
 
The instrument's bore and key work are based on the Selmer Privilege design—although the bore and tone holes feature some slight taper modifications to improve the response and balance the wood-composite material. Leather pads are installed, which are long-lasting and allow for a warm sound with seamless legato. Pereira Custom Bass Clarinets come with a 3D Blackwood Neckpiece, which bolsters and adds more depth of sound. Finally, each bass clarinet comes with both sitting and standing pegs for different playing situations. It also comes with a backpack-style case with a flap to hide the carrying straps if preferred.
 
All Pereira Custom Clarinets come with a 2-year shop warranty. There is no mouthpiece included with Pereira Custom Clarinets.
