A clarinet line that makes customized, hand-tuned instruments accessible for all players!
The Pereira Custom clarinet line was carefully developed in response to rising instrument prices each year. They're made to sing in symphony orchestras, pit orchestras, and bands, but can absolutely be used in marching band and other outdoor situations as well, since the materials are NOT susceptible to cracking or changing over time. This instrument was designed with the following points:
- The body, barrels, bell, etc., are thoroughly hand-finished and voiced
- Features undercut tone holes
- The materials will never crack or change due to temperature or humidity factors, won't require a break-in process, and can even be used in dry/cold weather playing situations
- 2 synthetic barrels are provided in different lengths to provide options for different mouthpieces or different intonation scenarios
- Features an adjustable thumb rest with a neck strap loop
- The keywork and posts feature thicker silver plating, so the keys are extremely durable and not at all pliable
- A left-hand alternate Eb key comes standard (and is easily removable if you choose to play without it!)
The upper and lower joints are crafted from a proprietary hard rubber and feature a polycylindrical (R13-style) bore with undercut tone holes. The barrels and bell are made from High Impact Polystyrene, a synthetic material with excellent resonance properties while remaining free-blowing in response. Leather pads are installed, which are long-lasting and allow for a warm sound with seamless legato.
Pereira 3D is also willing to accommodate your intonation preferences! 66mm and 65mm barrels are typically provided with the Balance Bb clarinet (which is voiced similarly to a Buffet clarinet). However, if you would prefer different barrel lengths than the ones provided, simply enter the two barrel lengths you'd like in the provided field, and you will be accommodated at no extra cost. If you would prefer the standard barrel lengths, leave the field blank. The barrels provided will work on both Bb and A clarinets.
All Pereira Custom Clarinets come with a 2-year shop warranty. The 3D accessories (barrels and bell) also carry a lifetime structural warranty. There is no mouthpiece included with Pereira Custom Clarinets, as most players already have their preferred setup. Pereira Custom Balance Series Clarinets come with a single case. The Bb clarinet's case features hideaway backpack straps.

Customers are allowed a 7-day trial of Pereira Custom Instruments starting on the date the package arrives. There is a 3% trial/restocking fee per returned instrument. The customer is also responsible for shipping costs both ways for returned instruments. These costs will be deducted from the refund.
